The RIDGID 1610RV 16 gallon, 6.5 peak HP stainless steel wet dry vacuum is designed to deliver powerful suction to efficiently handle the toughest wet or dry worksite or shop cleanup tasks. The handle and large rear wheels work together as a cart to allow mobility over thresholds, stairs, and rough terrain. The 8-foot premium locking pro-hose won’t pull loose during use. The premium pro-hose also won't kink allowing for optimum airflow. The Qwik Lock fine dust filter captures everyday dirt and fine particles, and it is quick, easy and secure to install or remove. This unit also incorporates patented Scroll Noise Reduction technology for quiet operation. The large capacity and rugged construction are ideal for contractor, industrial and commercial use.
RIDGID's parts list and website give a completely different set of accessories for this vacuum. Parts list from RIDGID provides a set of catalog numbers, none of which exist on their website. Their website lists an entirely different set of catalog numbers and model numbers–of their newer locking accessories. The 6.5 peak HP motor's powerful suction picks up about 1 gallon of water per second. Scroll noise reduction is a patented feature that provides quiet operation by precisely controlling the flow of air through the vac. The RIDGID 31693 has a sturdy cart, push handle, & large rear wheels that act together allowing the vac to travel easily up & down steps and across rough terrain. The 31693 has a quick release accessory storage bag which keeps accessories close at hand but is quickly removable to make emptying debris from drum quick and easy.
Other features on the 31693 include a 2-piece drum that provides improved, more rugged construction to meet the higher demands found on the job site, a 3-layer fine dust filter that captures fine dust particles such as dry wall dust, a Tug-A-Long locking hose that won‘t pull loose during use, a convienent large carry handle that allows easy lifting of vac into service vehicle, cord wraps neatly around carry handle, and a powerful exhaust airstream that can be directed through the vac hose to blow debris from garages, decks, and sidewalks.
