Our certified HEPA filter meets EPA RRP and OSHA laws for hazardous material pickup. It is safe to use on a number of materials including silica, asbestos, lead paint, and hexavalent chromium.
Individually HEPA certified by particle testing at an independent laboratory, each HEPA filter has a filtration rating at 99.97% at 0.3 microns. This means it will capture particles much smaller than the width of a human hair, a red blood cell, and nearly all viruses, bacteria, pollen, and allergens.
The HEPA Wet+Dry can go between wet and dry without switching filters. This saves you time and the hassle of having to stop your job to switch filters.
Using an interior baffle wall, water is deflected into the bottom of the barrel and away from the filters, keeping them dry. A float ball mechanism rises with the water level, sealing off the filters when the barrel becomes too full.
Need to use the filter bags? Those can be used with water too. Just leave them in the barrel and work away. They will hold up to 40 pounds of dust and water without losing their strength or integrity.
